The new me
I think I have maxed out concern with the coming chaos and current lying. Either people get it or they don't. When the fans leave the stands in the 8th inning, you have a good idea the home team has lost, barring the once in a decade fluke.
Yes, more lost jobs and no change in the unemployment rate. (Sorry, I gave it away.)
The idiot, as distinct from the malevolent manipulators in office, Senator Reid announced these results and said it was a great day for America.
My new idea is to join the current generation and use factoids and snippets. No real work and you have to figure out what the point is. So, here is the first. It is the lead to a NYT's article:
Jobless Rate Holds Steady, Raising Hopes of Recovery
By PETER S. GOODMAN and JAVIER C. HERNANDEZ
The economy in February shed 36,000 nonfarm jobs, fewer than forecast, as the unemployment rate held at 9.7 percent, the Labor Department said on Friday....
Yes, more lost jobs and no change in the unemployment rate. (Sorry, I gave it away.)
The idiot, as distinct from the malevolent manipulators in office, Senator Reid announced these results and said it was a great day for America.
Anyway, his days are numbered. Look at his son's race as a portend of things to come:
Poll: Rory Reid falls further
behind in Nevada race
Democrat Rory Reid, son of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, has fallen further behind Republican Brian Sandoval in Nevada's gubernatorial race, according to a Rasmussen Reports survey released today.
Reid trailed Sandoval, a former Nevada attorney general, by 12 points in a Rasmussen survey last month. Now, he trails by 18 points. The March 3 survey showed Sandoval ahead 53% to 35%. Not only that, but Reid now trails North Las Vegas Mayor Mike Montandon, 42% to 37%. Reid had a four-point edge over Montandon in February.
