Gene's Footnotes

I have never been impressed by the messenger and always inspect the message, which I now understand is not the norm. People prefer to filter out discordant information. As such, I am frequently confronted with, "Where did you hear that...." Well, here you go. If you want an email version, send me an email.

Eric Holder is Chauncey Gardener

Our Attorney General recently appeared before Congress where he said the radical Islamic terrorist in NYC was, in fact, instigated by the Taliban to kill Americans, but refused to say that means radical Islamic terrorists were involved in directing the radical terrorist into creating a bloodbath. He is  very sensitive to nuances most of us don't understand.

Putting aside whatever the poor man, who finds himself drowning in a real job, was trying to articulate, I found this more insightful.

In his near daylong appearance before the Judiciary Committee, Mr. Holder was repeatedly asked about Arizona's new immigration law, which the attorney general has criticized and suggested may run afoul of the Constitution.
Mr. Obama has asked the Justice Department to review the law to determine whether the federal government should try to block it before it takes effect at the end of July.
But Mr. Holder acknowledged to the committee that he hasn't read the law, and his criticisms were based on what he's seen on television or read in the newspapers about the law.
"I've just expressed concerns on the basis of what I've heard about the law. But I'm not in a position to say at this point, not having read the law, not having had the chance to interact with people who are doing the review, exactly what my position is," Mr. Holder said.
                   From Washington Times

THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF THE UNITED STATES has spoken out against a law enacted by a state of the union and has been tasked to block it by the Man-Child-In-Chief, but he has not read the law!  HE WATCHES TV!  He is Chauncey Gardener!

Could you imagine a Bush lawyer saying he didn't read a law, but TV doesn't like a law, so he thinks it is unconstitutional?  Please, dust off the pollution of chaos this administration manufactures and think.  Holder's response would get him ejected from a mail-order law school.

I thought he was telling TV what to say! That would fit a good conspiracy theory. But, we learn, TV, as well as Goldman Sachs, tells the administration what to do!

We poor citizens are constructing all manner of arguments and devising simpleton logic to deal with people  who seem confused and delirious, only to find they do not care to understand what they are hearing.  They obey TV.

Keep this interchange with Congress in mind. Send it to friends. This represents a critical insight.

The picture above is from "They Live."  I recommend that one, as well as the original "V," if you want an Eric-Holder-historical reference.  Both films will chill you as consider the morning's paper. In "They Live," when you put on special glasses, you see the truth behind the subliminal power structure.  I don't remember the film being in black and white.  I won't give away the plot.
