Obama Protects Big Labor Ciminality
Office of Labor Management Standards, OLMS, does not track non-criminal reporting violations of the LMRDA, Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act . The LMRDA was co-written by John Kennedy as a result of union criminality in the 1950s and before.
However, the Inspector General found that 76 percent of the reviewed audits missed non-criminal violations of the law. These violations include failing to file and failing to maintain records - where union dues are being spent.
The audits did track criminal violations of the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act, LMRDA.
- 16 percent of unions audited—one in six—committed criminal violations of the LMRDA.
- 92 percent of the unions that were audited violated regulations. (OLMS failed to report 76 percent of that)
Despite frequently finding criminal violations, the Obama Administration cut the number OLMS audits by almost 40 percent between 2009 and 2011. Union officers abusing their positions are substantially less likely to be audited now than before Solis took office.
The Department of Labor, thus, misses the nearly universal violation of regulations and does not track the crimes of the unions, though 16% commit crimes. Obama's reaction to these crimes and violations? Reduce the number of investigators.
This is an impeachable conspiracy.
