Rifle murder rate in Chicago: .98%

Below is a chart comparing murders in Chicago vs. deaths in the war in Afghanistan.  The chart is misleading, really, in using the term "murders" where there is a shooting war afoot.  By the way, the war is still going on.  You not be aware of that as President Obama personally killed Bin Laden, who was watching TV, and there is no coverage anymore. The daily roll of killed Americans no longer plays after network and PBS news programs with Taps as a sound track; there is no point to it since a Democrat (using the archaic term) is in charge of the pointless killing.  We all know only Republicans are responsible for bad things, so why waste valuable spin time on the news.

Of the murders in Chicago, reflected below, 98% were committed by hand guns, so it is clear, now, why the Democrats want to stop the use of semi-automatic rifles.  Clearly, they are worthless when killing fellow citizens; even the shooter at Sandy Hook left the rifle in the car, contrary to what you heard on TV.  Hence, we understand why we must control these not-really-assault weapons.

The only purpose to having a a semi automatic rifle, then, is to hunt and protect yourself from tyrants and invaders, if there is a difference. The government cannot allow serfs to be armed.

In the numbers for Chicago are 37 victims of a rifle.  Thus, the number of murders in Chicago caused by a rifle, of all types, is .0087 of the entire murder statistic.

Those murdered by a knife was 9% so clearly when people get married, they must have a background check if they receive cutlery as a gift.  Indeed, how is it anyone can just buy a knife and give it to young people?  Time to act!

By the way, there were more people strangled, at 92, than killed with a rifle.  I suppose we could require people to wear handcuffs when out of the house. Ok, so there are no easy answers to all problems. At least, we can tax fingers.
