Gene's Footnotes

I have never been impressed by the messenger and always inspect the message, which I now understand is not the norm. People prefer to filter out discordant information. As such, I am frequently confronted with, "Where did you hear that...." Well, here you go. If you want an email version, send me an email.

Logical Hyposthesis: Malaysia Airlines Flight 370

A Wiki Report:

Route: Kuala Lumpur – Beijing. Inserted: initial search areas and known path near a navigational waypoint called IgariVampi, and Igrex. Small red squares: radar contacts. Small circles: claimed spotting of debris.

New Scientist reported that, prior to the aircraft's disappearance, two Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS) reports had been automatically issued to engine manufacturer Rolls-Royce's monitoring centre in the United Kingdom;[38] and The Wall Street Journal, citing sources in the US government, asserted that Rolls-Royce had received an aircraft health report every thirty minutes for five hours, implying that the aircraft had remained aloft for four hours after its transponder went offline.[39][40][41]
The following day, Hishamuddin Hussein, the acting Transport Minister of Malaysia, refuted the details of The Wall Street Journal report stating that the final engine transmission was received at 01:07 MYT, prior to the flight's disappearance from secondary radar.[41] The WSJ later amended its report and stated simply that the belief of continued flight was "based on analysis of signals sent by the Boeing 777's satellite-communication link... the link operated in a kind of standby mode and sought to establish contact with a satellite or satellites. These transmissions did not include data..."[42][43]
Inmarsat said that "routine, automated signals were registered" on its network,[44] and that analysis of "keep-alive message[s]" that continued to be sent after air traffic control first lost contact could help pinpoint the aircraft's location,[45] which led The Independent to comment on 14 March that the aircraft could not have met with a sudden catastrophic occurrence, or all signals would have stopped simultaneously.[21] After the attacks of 11 September 2001, in which three of the hijacked aircraft had their transponders switched off,[46] there was a call for automated transponders;[46] however, no changes were made as aviation experts opted for a flexible control, in case resetting was required due to malfunction or an electrical emergency.[46]
On 25 March, Hishamuddin revealed that Inmarsat had found evidence that the aircraft had attempted another handshake with the satellite that came at 00:19 UTC, eight minutes after the last hourly report. The "partial ping" initiated by the aircraft that was unscheduled and not the result of any human interaction with the aircraft, is not yet understood.[47][48]

Flight 307 took off for China
---
  • 38 minutes:  last voice contact as jet moved toward Viet Nam
  • On Sunday officials said the final words from the missing jetliner’s cockpit gave no indication anything was wrong even though one of the plane’s communications systems had already been disabled, adding to suspicions that one or both of the pilots were involved in the disappearance
  • 40: Last secondary radar signal by transponder
  • 41: Transponder is "off"   (Plane is "missing") Turned off by pilot, if still flying.
  • 49: Viet Nam asks another jet to call 307.  It receives a static reply

According to analysis, see map 307,  apparently off radar, turns back toward Malaysia and flies right over it and turns west, allegedly without any radar contact. The disappearance was exactly between contact with Malaysis and with Viet Nam. The dramatic turn was programmed into the flight, which requires experienced human porogramming. It was timed perfectly to vanish.
  • 56: A routine "ACARS" data report is not received.
  • 1:30:  A "ping" is received from Rolls Royce engines. This is automatic.  Was this known to pilots?
  • 7:30:  Last handshake with sattelite.
  • 7:38:  Partial, unexplained handshake (someone disabling?)
  • 8:34:  Last Inmarsat attempt to ping is unanswered. Plane likely no longer in flight.

Malaysia has denied "pings" were captured and announced the jet was in the air no more than a few hours. Why lie?  Why does the world abide by the lie and continue searching?
Clearly, the jet returned to Malaysian airspace, flew over the country and turned to the west.  It likely did not fly over the mainland to Pakistan (which denied it entered their airspace). The Times of India reported that India's military also said there was no way the plane could have flown over India without being picked up on radar.

International CNN:
...On Saturday, Malaysian police searched the home of pilot Zaharie Ahmad Shah, 53. Zaharie lives in an upscale, gated community in Shah Alam, outside Malaysia's capital, Kuala Lumpur.
The Ministry of Transport said Sunday that police were examining a flight simulator found at the pilot's house....
Two vans were loaded with small bags, similar to shopping bags, at the home of the co-pilot, 27-year-old Fariq Ab Hamid, according to a CNN crew who observed activities at the residence...

Hishamudden Hussein, in addition to being the temporary Minister of Transportation is also Minister of Defense (the people who run the radar) and the Minister of Home Affairs. He is a leadging figure in:

United Malays National Organisation

The UMNO is the long-term ruling party of Malaysia. Its mission is to suppot Malay culture and spread Islam. Here is a photo of Mr. Hussein whipping up Malay support.

The cruising speed of the Boeing is some 525 miles per hour. It can travel faster, at height. While aviation radars may have range considerations; it is not likely that military radar is blind over the sea, especially US systems.  In any mode or path, the jet could reach Iran.
The U.S. told the New York Times, immediately a tale to distsrust, that it "could" track any jets, but doesn't. Then, one assumes by nature and timing of an article, it told the Washington Post is cannot.
It is a fair assumption that the U.S. was aware of the allegedly missing jet and could track it.  Since we all know the government, seemingly, always lies, there is no need to consider the release, per se, only consider why it would cover up what happened to Flight 370.  The geopolitical fancies of our current administration would make our government shut up as to real events, then say stupid things. See: Lybia, N. Africa. Syria, Ukraine. This is a given. They have cover from true believers in the press.
One doubts our "enemies," whoever this government seems to decide on a weekly basis, needs to be misled though secrecy about our capabilities, so the lie is for public consumption.  Though, reflexive secrecy is an outstanding feature of our former republic.
Bottom line: the Boeing was intentionally removed from view and flew long enough to reach Iran, even avoiding Indian radar along the way.  Weeks of searching, perhaps in earnest, have found nothing at all, not a ping. Iran would be the most likely nation, if not the only one, to accept the jet, if not plan the theft, and find a use for it.
It all liklihood, the US and other governments know exactly where 370 went. One rarely hears, these days, that human beings have disappeared. Many were Chinese nationals. It is conceivable that China is working with the U.S. on a covery level as China is another target of militant Islam.
Israel, as you likely know, has prepared for the appearance of an unknown civilian jet coming its way.
