Howard Zinn: academic subversive

If you go to Borders in Saratoga, or any bookstore, you will come across a Zinn history of the United Stated. I did when I was looking for a real book. God help me, I picked it up and was tainted by a paragraph. 


Borders likes to keep people like the Gore, the Clintons, and Zinn in your face. I tend to not go there anymore, having actually complained about the absence of a NYT best seller that was, OMG, written by Judge Thomas. I tend to vote with my dollar.


It is important to understand the depth and viciousness of the Marxist movement. Hollywood still eviscerates Senator McCarthy for a reason. His message, albeit over-the-top, must be ridiculed, but in the process no "work of art" mentions McCarthy's committee included as a lawyer a young Robert Kennedy. 


Below is the beginning of a recent article about Zinn, which is of zero surprise to me, but millions of people are fed this crap as real history. Mush minds accept long-term spoon feeding. This is why you go to Cornell and graduate with less understanding of the United States than the entering class, as a yearly poll shows.


There is a need for people, as individuals not as "the government," to study, educate, and, if possible, keep their children away from public schools. I have taught in many schools, a life-long substitute for fun, and would argue that on a macro-level putting your child in a public school, especially the first eight years, is tantamount to child abuse. You may as well feed them lead paint.


I refer you to the Valedictorian Address a few entries earlier where the valedictorian clearly explains how the schools produce programmed robots.

Worse than that, we now know that Zinn had been a secret communist who duped the Hollywood figures and rock stars into playing roles in his Marxist propaganda campaign.

The prominent “progressive” historian Howard Zinn, whose books are force-fed to young people on many college campuses, was not only a member of the Moscow-controlled and Soviet-funded Communist Party USA (CPUSA) but lied about it, according to an FBI file released on Friday. 

The file, consisting of three sections totaling 423 pages, was made available on the FBI’s website and released in response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request from this writer. 

Zinn taught in the political science department of Boston University for 24 years, from 1964 to 1988, and has been a major influence on the modern-day “progressive” movement that backed Barack Obama for president....

Don't you think it interesting that Marxists, communists, anarchists, revolutionaries never admit to it. Doesn't that tell you something about their message and intent?
