Gene's Footnotes

I have never been impressed by the messenger and always inspect the message, which I now understand is not the norm. People prefer to filter out discordant information. As such, I am frequently confronted with, "Where did you hear that...." Well, here you go. If you want an email version, send me an email.

Who is this guy?

I assume this video will appear;  they changed the system I didn't know in the first place.

Sidebar:

My news service tells me there are five medical bills in Congress and, wouldn't you know it, the projected bill is just under $1,000,000,000,000. Good deal.

The hype is this will cover more uninsured than who are uninsured.  Also, I won't bother you with the ends vs. the means discussion. Repeating myself is pointeless. I think the government should work on universal chocolate cake, next. Those with diabetes will die off, which is good for the medical coverage.

Let me add that the bills assume major cuts in government medicare, sure, to fund government magic care.

You should know that Medicare is the NUMBER 1 insurer inb refusing to cover claims.

Medicare denies 6.8% of claims, I recall, while the next real mean insurance company denies 3.5%.

So, we can look to Medicare denying more claims, so other claims can be covered, say abortions and sex-change operations.  The new plan won't mind if older people, great leaders excluded, die. This is necessary as not enough people are dying as a result of complications from the horrible and terrifying flue, that nurses and doctors are refusing to be inoculated against.

Do not fear intergenerational spreading of the wealth, comrade.
