Gene's Footnotes

I have never been impressed by the messenger and always inspect the message, which I now understand is not the norm. People prefer to filter out discordant information. As such, I am frequently confronted with, "Where did you hear that...." Well, here you go. If you want an email version, send me an email.

Housekeeping

 Mona sent this:

Hi.
Been trying to post comments on your blog; but keep getting the message that I am not in "your group", whatever that is. weird. I thought all bloggers could post to each other, on google, but maybe I have to be listed as one of your subscribers? dunno. Yea, the Hegel dialectic is pretty interesting, and many of us have noticed this insanity for some time, the question is what to do about it? Killing your TV isn't a big enough solution, anymore, apparently. :(

She also talked about making deserts, but this is probably more appropriate to quote.  I will look into this but remain fed up (or is it confused) by techno knowledge.

Oh, I took to filtering the blog responses because of crap that came in.  What I do is haphazardly see someone responded and I push all manner of keys and buttons to publish the response.  I haven't seen Mona's so I need to bake a cake, make a pot of coffee and deal with this stuff.

iPhone and android devices have a hidden file that tracks the owners movements.  Tracks and keeps them secretly.

My doctor sent a second request to join his family practice web site.  The first notice mentioned how the Federal government could just look into  my records - by joining this happy and peppy free service, I was agreeing to this invasion. (I am surprised they asked).

The second note did not contain this warning, which was very interesting, but did mention the name of the software company that provided the "bridge" between the various "encrypted" sites.   I looked up the company.  It is a not-for-profit that works for Homeland Security and NSA.  The health division was off to the side as a minor function.

Anyone see what is happening, yet?

Encrypted right.

Next story

------------------

There is big news in Canada about a young child who was sent to the states out of Windsor, ON, for an operation that the GOVERNMENT PANEL refused to pay for because his illness is assumed to be terminal.  Yes, our new bill will have 15 people appointed to run these panels.  This story is live TV stuff in Canada where many people understand they have to come to the U.S. and pay for help.

If this is not chilling enough, the new health insurance bill makes it a felony in the US, someday if it ever sticks around, to buy your own medical care -  you will be told to die and the fact that you can buy more time will be irrelevant to the socialistic system (can't have people outside the system - though England and Canada do.)

-----------------

Final note which I raise so that people may believe me.  Last year, I was yelling, sort of, in these pages to buy silver.  The price back then was 11 - 14 dollars an ounce.  It is now about $45.

Gas is $4 per gallon and rising.  It will continue as our dollar is devalued by the government - on purpose until such time as the rest of the world does it also on purpose, which is about NOW.  Our using less fuel, as you may think applying untainted economics, will not result is prices falling to attract users.  The dollar is cheapening and as to a greenback price at the pump that trumps supply and demand, which helps a bit.  Saudi Arabia wants value for its product and since our dollar is being watered down, it raises its price.  Duh.  Its economics stupid.

The great cascade has started.  The discussion over the last tax bill is irrelevant and a cruel distraction.  Now, our great leaders want to raise our credit card limit in order to pay our bills.  Think about it, if you were an Asian or European investor, would you prefer to see the US stop the bleeding and take a hit or start spending more?  Of course, you would want to see us grow up.  Would lend money to someone who needs to pay their mortgage if they are out shopping for a new BMW?

Wall Street, a generic term (I actually wrote "germ") wants the money to keep running, of course, but they have nothing to do with fiscal control and responsibility. They are glorified car salesmen.
