Gene's Footnotes

I have never been impressed by the messenger and always inspect the message, which I now understand is not the norm. People prefer to filter out discordant information. As such, I am frequently confronted with, "Where did you hear that...." Well, here you go. If you want an email version, send me an email.

Feedback from Ray

Ray dropped in for a coffee at the Uncommon Grounds Saturday on his way to buy healthy produce.

I have two items to publish here that came out of the discussion.

1.  The "Health Industry" that Mr. Obama is highlighting as a greedy bunch of profiteers is #86 in industry rank.  They make 3.3% profit.

I recall reading, but this my memory talking, if you know what I mean, that 23% of the health industries' cost result from government regulation. You know, the government has to tell doctors what to do. For my part, I would never get involved in a business that has a history of a 3% profit (unless hired as a well paid suit.)

If we are going to destroy this business, we might as well go after the "Publishing Periodicals" business as they make 21.8%.  You know, Time, NYT, Washington Post.  Its about time the government took over the press and made sure we all get magazines every month.  The constitution is irrelevant, right?

Besides, its those publications that let Obama get away with lying.  Ray was actually miffed by the big profits being made on people's health.

President ObamaThere have been reports just over the last couple of days of insurance companies making record profits, right now," Obama said during a prime-time news conference. At a time wheneverybody's getting hammered, they're making record profits, and premiums are going up. What's the constraint on that? ... Well, part of the way is to make sure that there's some competition out there.

2.   Ray said he was annoyed that I hadn't mentioned that the drug companies were behind the Codex Alimentarius, the attempt of world government to control food.  I thought I did.  They are all for it. They get to sell you Vitamin C and stop you from buying things like nattokinase or L-Argenine to prevent strokes and improve your arteries.

Monsanto wants the codex because they are upset that your garden may infect their genetically altered crops. Seriously. They will sue you if seeds wind up on your land and grow there.

Big Pharma, the UN, fascists, socialist, corporate farms, and morons (Senator McCain) all agree. So you know the Codex is a bad thing.  Buy seeds now and put them away.

I think most of what I say here falls upon deaf left ears, to use about the only descriptor that makes sense (I would say "yin"),  but everyone has to agree that we do not want Big Everyone telling us we can't grow our own corn or make dandelion tea.

We are going that way, so you better vote everyone out. Perhaps, even our left-eared people can get a sense of what is bothering those on the right. Time to listen.

Latest socialist plan: food control

The Congress has been trying for years to pass the Codex Alimentarius and it looks like we will have it come in in piecemeal.  Its a UN/European socialist gambit to control your intake. Apparently, the drug companies want control of you vitamins and minerals.

Senator McCain is for this because athletes took steroids.  What a moron. I am sure glad he concerns himself with dopey athletes. You see, the government knows best. Once they are in control of medicine, education, and food, then we will be in nirvana.

I know I will be buying a few years worth of some supplements if this comes to pass.

A few years ago, I was prescribed medical grade rat poison and had to have blood tests every few weeks at the medical mill to makes sure some maginc number was reached. After six weeks, they never reached it.

After this absurd drill, which I was paying for, I started taking nattokinase and aspirin, a baby one. Still here and no heart problems caused by Warfarin's destruction of vitamin K. Of course, vitamin K will be controlled, prescribed, and very expensive if this bill becomes law. Or, you could just eat spinach.

By the way, this bill is not about drugs, its about food. The FDA and drub companies have been furious about not controlling our food.

All this may sound harmless, but I hope we have all learned about incrementalism.

Protect Access to Dietary Supplements
Tell the Senate to Oppose S. 3002

Dear AAPS Action Team,

Call your Senators (Capitol switchboard is 202-224-3121 or click here to find their direct numbers) and tell them to oppose Senators John McCain (R-AZ) and Byron Dorgan's (D-ND) bill  S. 3002  "Dietary Supplement Safety Act of 2010" which would repeal key section of the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (DSHEA).  DSHEA has protected consumers access to dietary supplements and limited the FDA's power until now. If  S. 3002  passes it would;
  • require all supplements to be approved by the Federal government through a new and unspecified process. Only those ingredients that are on the approved dietary ingredient list can be sold.
  • any business or operation engaged in manufacturing, packaging, labeling, holding, or distributing dietary supplements would have to register with the Federal government.
  • new dietary supplements would have to go through a difficult and expensive process to be approved for use. Instead of considered safe and proven unsafe by the FDA, they will be considered unsafe by the FDA and need to be proven safe by the manufacturers.
The FDA already has the legal authority it needs to remove dietary supplements from the market that it deems dangerous and its against the law already for dietary supplement manufactures to sell drug tainted supplements.  Therefore the arguments used to support the bill are not supportable by the facts.
Tell your Senators to support consumers access to dietary supplements by not cosponsoring  the bill S. 3002  "Dietary Supplement Safety Act of 2010."

Thank you,

Call To Action: Codex Alimentarius is descending upon us

Back in my Tech Valley Times days I wrote an article about Doctor Rima Laibow.  I had met her and General Stubblebine (Ret) a few times and worked on a business matter. Great people.  He is the former director of the DIA which, I think, means he was my father's boss.

She is an M.D. maverick who practices medicine outside the norm;  she is concerned with health as opposed to fixing.  She looks into foods, supplements, and we even talked about treatments by frequency.

Even then, she was going to D.C. to fight the Codex Alimentarius  - for many years.  She has warned us and needs help.

I learned a new term, yesterday, the "normalcy bias."  This term describes why people don't act when confronted with a crisis.  There is a tendency in 80% of the people to not see the crisis coming, then become disoriented waiting for direction.  This is exactly what the left is banking on.  Will we agree to Big Brother when a good  nap will do?

Of note, the term is mentioned in a book about why some people survive and others don't.  The survivors have "situational awareness" and know what to do in a crisis, having paid attention.

WATCH and SPREAD

I urge you to get a piece of pie, a big one, and listen to the lecture I posted. In this time of one apparent, but not, crazy laws dropping like rain, the Codex appears mundane - trust me it is not.  If it is not stopped, you will not be able to get Vitamin C or Niacin or anything without a prescription.

Two years ago, I refused to take rat poison (medical grade:  Warfarin) and started myself on niacin, Aregenine, aspirin, serrapeptase, and nattokinase.  I am still here and my preference for vitamin K  over rat poison has prevented heart problems and cost next to nothing.  I am doing very well, to the confusion of some doctors.  I fired one doctor and another decided he did not want me.  Imagine if I had no option but to ask doctors for a worm enzyme.  (Actually, some pharmacy company will be able to sell it for 50 times the current cost and it will be promoted by cute salesgirls. This will reduce medical costs, if I understand the Democrats.)

As Rima notes the father of the Codex was the father of the gaz used in concentration camps and who was sentenced at Nuremberg.  Of course, being an ex-Nazi animal, he hooked up with the U.N. and the WTO which are behind this "harmonization" of member nations to the Codex which, by the way, is a "trade" item and has nothing to do with health.  It seeks to control all food and supplements - period.  Recall the founder of the Bildebergers was also a convicted NAZI.  Anyone catching on?

Senator McCain recently introduced a bill to accept the Codex, pushed by the drug companies who are exempt, thereby proving the need for supplements for dementia.  INFO  At that site, there is action you can take.  [One blog says McCain is pushing this because of the need to protect athletes from evil supplements.  If he really believes that, we need a recall.]

This new Codex gambit is very quiet and very dangerous.  We are losing the battle to each what we want.  One comment I read is that Hayworth is not much better on this.  I don't know.  Here is another:

Regarding Codex, there is a site out there (can't find it, maybe someone else can or knows about it?) that has what Codex actually does and when it really starts. If I remember correctly, it begins sometime in 2012 and it is a "safety" measure, but it isn't as draconian as some have made it out to be. Remember December 31, 2009? Well, I still get my supplements . Additionally, HR 2749 needs to pass for it to be implemented.

It may be our nation is lost to the Marxists and oligarchs, but part of the blame goes to the Republicans for nominating a troll who couldn't even think up a good question to ask Obama.  If anyone, anywhere, including the press, actually contested Obama, we would not be in looking for exits.  The fix is in.

We have lost the battle to protect our property and are losing our freedom.  If things gets too bad, you can always just leave, but where do you get your food?

In any event, watch this subject.  If it becomes law, buy vitamins and so on in bulk next year.
