Gene's Footnotes

I have never been impressed by the messenger and always inspect the message, which I now understand is not the norm. People prefer to filter out discordant information. As such, I am frequently confronted with, "Where did you hear that...." Well, here you go. If you want an email version, send me an email.

Money is Sensitive

Money is not likely to sit quietly in an abusive relationship.  It is very independent and demands respect.

In the United States, we used to make and keep money.  It was not that difficult, if you found a good job and worked at it. We had vast resources and booming businesses. Our people were those who abandoned the oligarchy of Europe and were hell bent upon obtaining an education and making a good living. They were the, now, hated individualists. Worse still, they had religion and morals.  The result was a spectacular growth of industry and culture. Now, our schools are a cruel hoax and sites of mind control. Industry is leaving.

Simpletons think that having some federal plan will fix things. Simpletons are Marxist,s at heart, but know nothing of Russia's economic history.  There is this hummmmmm: tax the rich. This is, of course, not going to happen and would be useless. Then mean:  tax the employed.

The childish view of socialists is that "big business" wants to make "more" money so they leave and go to Mexico, and so on. There is partial truth, here, but it is distorted. There is a need to make a greater profit, but it is not greed, today, - it is survival.

The car companies did not leave Detroit because it was beautiful, safe, and a healthy place to raise a family.  They went to Kentucky, for example, where they were free from the stench of ignorant socialists. GM went bankrupt, after the head Marxists said it would not and gave it your money (losing quite a bit) and giving part of the company to the unions that killed it.  This is the history of the world in a snap shot. Out happy leftists at Apple moved manufacturing to China; what was their alternative?

A factory in California? So, our intrusive ignorance drives our wealth overseas. Good for them.  Someone is benefiting from a massive suicide.

The problem, in the end, was Americans actually believed in the republic and went about our lives taking care of ourselves and communities; and voting, a necessary evil. It was an awful experience as the most incompetent people you know of were candidates.  They were all bed fellows. The Bloods and Crips. This was the end; we let in the virus that infected Europe and Russia.

Herein is the end of America.

Con artists took to City Hall. The incompetent did not and could not rat out other incompetents. They merely gave each other pay raises and overlooked graft. This system plugged right into the state governmental processes. The republic has become a tottering fool whose conservators merely help themselves to the old-timer's bank account.

The big-money people finally got control of the nation.  Roughly at the beginning of the 20th Century. Soon, we had a new Federal Reserve gang designed to squeeze profit from the people for member banks and friends. The tax code arrived and the election of Senators became a popularity contest that is generally won by those who appealed to the lazy and stupid.  That is, city drones who like freebies.  Jefferson was right, the rot comes from those people who live upon layered upon themselves.

See:  Detroit.

In Detroit, we find the complete cycle: richest city per capita to a dead war-zone awaiting Robo Cop.  The cost of building cars was driven to an absurd level, thanks to unions, socialist rulers, and short-sighted management. Finally, money left.  It went where it was respected, not stolen by leeches.  The leeches, by the way, are not calling for a U.S. intervention in Detroit.

When GM went under and unions/Obama took control, the superb Saturn car plant was closed - not sold.  Why.  Obviously, someone did not like a highly automated plant. I am reminded of Milton Friedman's discussion of the shirt business as it moved to India. The government supported the dying English shirt industry. Sound like anything our government is doing, now?  A good businessman understand how the world works; a government hack mocks business. So, there you go.

John Galt has left the building.

Big money, in modern times, does not use the army to protect and control its revenue. Now, the foster the easily controllable unions, socialists, and statists. In my mind, I like to see them as those guys who met with the Smoking Man in the X Files.

Theie minions go about the work of strangling all aspects of life. This strangling helps the statist, the oligarchy.  Where minions are strongest in America, you find insolvency: LA, SF, Chicago, Detroit, etc. NYC is not insolvent, as yet, but it is so vicious toward the few trades that are still there, it is a matter of time before they make their leaving felt. The State, of course, is insolvent.  The clock ticks.

In 2008, Wall Street covered about $4.5 billion of the city’s tax payments — 12 percent of the total. Last year, it was $2.8 billion — 7 percent.  The state, meanwhile, got $8.7 billion from the securities industry last year, or 14 percent of its tax dollars. That was down from $12 billion — or 20 percent — in 2008.Losing NY’s golden goose(NYP)

A generation ago, NYC was insolvent and it was saved by using the teacher's unions pension fund.  It is a matter of time that the mighty concentration of serfs can no longer support itself.  Watch as large brokers set up shop outside New York. Newark is a start. History, does suggest the money power center holds, but business will leave.

GE created Schenectady, literally. Massive factories were rapidly built.  Many ancillary companies arrived and the city became a world economic power. Then, the self-absorbed got control of City Hall and decided to tax GE by assessing building occupancy.  Only government workers cannot understand where that leads.

There are lovely empty factories in Schenectady, a Hell's Angels porno filming location, tattoo parlors and a fine theater, from the old days, that was brought back from the dead in gasp at saving the city. There are magnificent homes with low prices, but you cannot afford the taxes. This, of course, leads to not-for-profits taking root in the houses and, of course, driving up taxes on those who are not free loading. Government starts putting its various wards into the housing.  NYC killed off Amsterdam by sending its wretched refuse there.

On it goes.  Without a major upheaval, the future will not resemble the past. Americans have had their individualism knocked out of them and cannot move being fully locked in place. I sometimes wonder why the U.S. is the only place that uses fluoride in its water - a scheme of the NAZIs developed to subjugate conquered people.

Suzuki Motor to build new plant in Indonesia ...

The simple answer to this sweep of history is that money doesn't pay much attention to whining and demands of socialists and thieves. Indeed, much of it is owned by thieves who have no interest in transferring their wealth to the whiners. They have to invest it, but they do not have to give it away.

Once a critical point is passed, money says goodbye.  For now, the U.S. is a bit lucky as money is fleeing Europe and needs home with a large army. This is a circumstance of history which changes with time.

When money leaves, a government reveals itself as a gangster and tries to keep the peoples' wealth under its control. They make nowhere plans for no-one. as the upper class resets itself. This is all coming, here, and the smart people are gone. Romney, as you recall, has his money in Bermuda. Think about this.

So, today, Indonesia had a bad report:  its growth dropped below 6!  Americans have so-long been subject to collectivism, theft, and re-education, they have forgotten the days when they created history by providing so much for so many.  Now, as we move a few points up or down in our doctored statistics, we await the final death of the dollar and collapse of individual wealth.

If it all happens sooner than later, there will still be some people left who remember how things used to work. They may get the train back on the track. One doubts there will be much success.  We will become like France where foreigners come in and buy up lovely homes.  They will visit from time to time. The economy will be serving them coffee.  I watched this happen to Vermont, which is not a theme park for part-time visitors who want nothing of this business stuff near them.

Don't Bother Closing the Door on the Way Out

I seem to be laying off the sky falling hysteria, these days.  Either people get it or not.  I have been going on about if for six years. Those who do not pay any attention are really going to "get it." Perhaps, this is some sort of natural selection, the weaning of the terminally stupid.

Nonetheless, below is a graph from President Obama's own projections, those which accompanied the submitted (this is new) budget plan"

Sort of a hockey stick, no?

As you know, we are at the end of America as we knew it. We are broke, unrest and poverty are coming along with the militarization of the nation, as is planned. All this is so as of 2013.  There is no point even arguing with leftist with the cognitive dissonance disease.

Above, check out the public debt projection of the President.  One cannot use the terms insanity or stupidity for the current charge into hell; it cannot be not seen as baseball has started. We are long past stupidity as a possibility and mental illness on this scale is not possible. We are witnessing the intentional destruction of the our nation. There are many forces at work and have been for decades going back to Marxists, socialists, Progressives, the KGB, the 1 per centers, and so on. They will fight things out among themselves, later, and the winner will tax us and keep us in pens.

There is a smattering of marginalized "Republicans" who are objecting to what is happening, but I think we have lost the ability to save ourselves. Ron Paul could have stemmed the flood, but the GOP made sure he could not beat Romney by having six pseudo conservatives running against him.

Now, as you look at the hockey stick realize that our great leaders assume that the U.S. dollar will remain the world's currency and that we can devalue it as a way out of the bizarre debt.  This will not happen, now, nations are withdrawing from the USD. It is happening all over the world. Thus, there will be little need to buy dollars and put up with the offense of its intentional devaluation.

Once the rest of the world catches on, interest rates will make Greece look attractive. So, get out of dollars.

Even today, if we taxed everyone at 100% we could not balance a yearly budget.  Like I say, we are past insane.

To repeat myself, get peanut butter, coffee, and silver, and a place to go for protection; thanks to Obamacare, begin working on improving your health as there will be no care.

Plan your escape

We know about the NDAA that Congress passed when no one was looking on New Years Eve.  That law lets the executive department identify "terrorists" and abduct them and keep them incommunicado. Chris Gibson voted for it.

The FBI has already identified Constitutionalists as terrorists which makes sense as they would threaten "the government."  (Not to worry, the government says it was never intended to control the population, even though it provides for it.)

Last week President Obama imperially announced he would "waive" part of this act of Congress, the part where foreigners can be grabbed. He did this in response to criticism of the law. The press did not catch, or intentionally report, that the prior section dealing with Americans was not "waived."  Personally, I hope he waives the law regarding income tax for Chek-Irish-American males. Why not?  He is king and control Congress and the pretty much the courts.

About the same time as the NDAA, the government mounted an attack on the Internet and had to back down a bit as the Internet companies, who caught on to the game, are more powerful than Obama, for now.

As of a few days ago, we have a new law that was presented as a pointless duplication of trespass law to arrest people protesting. (Oh, don't worry about it, we are told, it is only for stopping trespassing. I can no longer believe our representatives are this stupid, so they must be subversive.)

Of course, it is designed to create a federal crime of being in a place the federal government says is protected from the citizens. What do you think this is saying.  (I have an article pasted below). For example, the Secret Service now protects Mr. Santorum, so if you protest his statism during an election stop, you can be abducted, charged with a federal "crime" and disappear. Is this your country?  You think this cannot be so?

Chris Gibson, our new Congressman in northern New York has voted for the end of habeas corpus and freedom of assembly. He probably doesn't even know it, being an earnest person, but he is a statist,  so vote accordingly. There is no slack to give in protecting your freedom.

Much is done in the name of security that subverts that which assures of security. Scott Murphy was only tweedle dee. If there is NY primary, go vote for someone else. I do not even know. I suggest following local elections and planning an escape route.

The Republican statists votes, nearly all of them but for Ron Paul, are not decisions we merely do not like, as Santorum suggests by saying he had to "take one for the team" on a vote, they are the abnegation of the Constitution;  bills passed when no one was looking. It used to be one amended the Constitution. People have been distracted as the media is going on about free contraception for sluts.

No one says a word when king Obama waives a law passed by Congress. Do you understand? As Motown put it: You better think....

Either you are with the Constitution or you are with the subversives.  You have no more time to sit on the fence as the fence is being topped with barbed wire. As I explained not long ago, the barbed wire is pointed to keep you in, not keep others out.

Keep on voting, but be aware you don't tug on Superman's cape. Keep a suitcase near the door. The best of times is gone; it is now the worst of times.

Oh yes, it is appropriate to add Mr. Bernanke recently said the nation is headed for an economic "catastrophe." (Did you hear that on the nightly TV news?)

Maybe, some people will listen to their hero, now. There is a catastrophe coming, the government, as it pretends to be mad at the rich in order to get the votes of the weak-minded, is preparing to arrest citizens and put them in a gulag, the last source of independent news is under assault, illegal aliens are being courted as well as the Muslim Brotherhood.

The enemy of our time is complacency. The devil's greatest success is that he convinces people he does not exist.

Pass this blog around.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Amendment I
The Constitution of the United States of America
September 17, 1787
It seems like every day brings us one step closer to a totalitarian police state, and today is no exception.

The Daily Crux and Economic Policy Journal have reported on a little known bill that was overwhelmingly approved by the House of Representatives (H.R. 347 vote tally 388-3) and the Senate (S.1794 passed with unanimous consent, no voting records were kept of which Senators approved).

The Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act of 2011 essentially strips Americans of their right to protest and assemble in government buildings or on public or private grounds where events of “national significance” are taking place.

The summary of the bill clearly outlines the direct attack on our First Amendment protections which allow for peaceable assembly and public redress of grievances against our government or elected officials within it:

Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act of 2011 – Amends the federal criminal code to revise the prohibition against entering restricted federal buildings or grounds to impose criminal penalties on anyone who knowingly enters any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority. Defines “restricted buildings or grounds” as a posted, cordoned off, or otherwise restricted area of: (1) the White House or its grounds or the Vice President’s official residence or its grounds, (2) a building or grounds where the President or other person protected by the Secret Service is or will be temporarily visiting, or (3) a building or grounds so restricted due to a special event of national significance.

Bill sponsor Tom Rooney (R-FL) claimed in a tweet responding to grievances on the internet, that “HR 347 does not effect your right to protest in any way whatsoever. It deals with fence jumpers, not protestors.”

As it turns out, the two page bill deals not just with ‘fence jumpers,’ but also lays the groundwork for all protests, gatherings and politic dissent in any facility or grounds in the United States of America that has been identified as a place of ‘national significance’ or where the Secret Service is charged with the protection of an individual – ANY individual, whether it’s the President, a congressional member or anyone else of national interest....
