Gene's Footnotes

I have never been impressed by the messenger and always inspect the message, which I now understand is not the norm. People prefer to filter out discordant information. As such, I am frequently confronted with, "Where did you hear that...." Well, here you go. If you want an email version, send me an email.

Time to prepare. The inevitable has been put off for years by raising taxes and borrowing money. One had better be prepared.

By mid July, silver will be moving quickly, I should think. Stockpile something.

The Recession Is Coming: Economist Warns It’s Beyond Control: “I Don’t See What Will Save It At This Point”

We are on the verge of another recession. So says Shadow Stats economist John Williams, who warns that by the end of July it will become apparent to all Americans. That’s when the government will release its latest GDP economic figures and according to Williams those numbers, combined with revisions for the first quarter of 2014, will show negative economic growth for a second quarter in a row, the official definition for recession.
In an interview with Greg Hunter’s USA Watchdog, Williams explains that it all boils down to one critical factor. Credit lending has tightened up since the crash of 2008 and without it U.S. consumers don’t have enough money to continue fueling the economy through consumption, the single most important element of economic growth.
We’re turning down anew. The first quarter should revise into negative territory… and I believe the second quarter will report negative as well.
That will all happen by July 30 when you have the annual revisions to the GDP. In reality the economy is much weaker than that. Economic growth is overstated with the GDP because they understate inflation, which is used in deflating the number…
What we’re seeing now is just… we’ve been barely stagnant and bottomed out… but we’re turning down again.
The reason for this is that the consumer is strapped… doesn’t have the liquidity to fuel the growth in consumption.
Income… the median household income, net of inflation, is as low as it was in 1967. The average guy is not staying ahead of inflation…
This has been a problem now for decades… You were able to buy consumption from the future by borrowing more money, expanding your debt. Greenspan saw the problem was income, so he encouraged debt expansion.
That all blew apart in 2007/2008… the income problems have continued, but now you don’t have the ability to borrow money the way you used to. Without that and the income problems remaining, there’s no way that consumption can grow faster than inflation if income isn’t.
As a result – personal consumption is more than two thirds of the economy – there’s no way you can have positive sustainable growth in the U.S. economy without the consumer being healthy.
It’s just not going to happen.

MORE

The bottom line is that we, as consumers, have no more money left to throw into the economy. We’re using most of it on food, rent, utilities, and now mandated health insurance taxes. And as Williams noted, incomes aren’t rising, so without additional credit being pumped directly into the hands of the consumer there is no possible way to keep spending money.

Academic Murders Oldest Unitary Organism

Bristlecone Pine, White Mountains, California. “Bristlecone pines are the oldest unitary organisms in the world, known to surpass 5,000 years in age,” says Sussman. “In the 1960’s a then-grad student cut down what would have been the oldest known tree in the world while retrieving a lost coring bit. A cross section of that tree was placed in a Nevada casino.

Dangerous Fascist: Sen. Markey of Massachusetts

From Onenewsnow.com:

Did you hear yesterday's Obama lie?  Well, I am referring to just one.

He says that all that information the NSA records and stores is not used.  It is for use later, when a target is suspected. This is the latest mind-numbing lefty babble. They never seem to understand some day their infrastructure will fall into the hands of a right wing administration.

The Germans registered their guns in the early 1920s upon assurances of the government that their data would be secret only to have the list wind up in the hand of the National Socialists in 1933. Hitler's first act was to confiscate the guns. I won't bother explaining why that was necessary for an evil state to kill people. Those who do not understand, never will.

If a bill such as the one below were passed, it is time to find a new homeland. Seriously. Don't close the door on the way out, I will be right behind. Pay attention to the 1930s when Jews who could left Germany. Oh, forgot, it can never happen, here because we have guns and freedom.

Send this around and those in MA ought to pay attention to the viruses they elect. The bill below expresses exactly what the fascists want. it is classic Orwellian. The bill is a trial balloon, I suspect, as the House would never pass it, in order to see what the reaction is, so I suggest you give one. The bill is for home consumption, as well, considering the coming election.

This is the sad aspect. Markey is pandering to voters who will vote for their own slavery.  They will, too.

Dems want to mine for 'hate speech'

Chad Groening   (OneNewsNow.com) Friday, May 02, 2014
A pro-family organization is warning that "hate crime"-related legislation introduced on Capitol Hill could potentially squash free speech and create a "thought-controlled society."

In mid-April, Senator Edward J. Markey (D-Massachusetts) introduced a bill authorizing the government to monitor and analyze speech online, on television, and over the radio, with the aim of classifying it as hate speech under the government's own vague guidelines and then possibly charging the "offenders" with a hate crime.
The Hate Crime Reporting Act of 2014 (S. 2219) would create a comprehensive report of Internet and other telecommunications speech regarding gender, race, religion, ethnicity, or sexual orientation. It would also create recommendations to address such crimes.
If S. 2219 becomes law, it would be "a really big step toward a police state," says Patrick Vaughan, general counsel for the American Family Association.
"What they propose to do is capture and monitor everything that's said on broadcast or everything that's said on the Internet; they're going to grab it all," the attorney describes. "Then they're going to analyze it to see if there might be something going on that would lead to a crime in the future."
U.S. Capitol 620x300
Markey's fellow New York Democrat, Congressman Hakeem Jeffries, has introduced a companion bill in the House (H.R. 3878). Jeffries says such legislation is necessary to "comprehensively evaluate the scope of criminal and hateful activity on the Internet that occurs outside of the zone of First Amendment protection."...

Anarchy Redux

I was chatting to a pianist from Moscow who seemed remarkably receptive to my views. He recommended I research "anarchy," which he said is legitimate school of thought. I would think that is very true if you are Russian. He was a wonderful pianist.

All I  knew was the guy who started WWI, in the comic book of history I learned, was an anarchist. That was the punch line and ended further inquiry. The Archduke Ferdinand story never made sense to me.

The radical Marxists promoted anarchy and used it to take down the Czar. Then, they created a tyrannical state. It is a mistake to say communism is a form of anarchy - it is the opposite of forced collectivization.
Expelled American anarchists Emma Goldman and Alexander Berkman were amongst those agitating in response to Bolshevik policy and the suppression of the Kronstadt uprising, before they left Russia. Both wrote accounts of their experiences in Russia, criticising the amount of control the Bolsheviks exercised. For them, Bakunin's predictions about the consequences of Marxist rule that the rulers of the new "socialist" Marxist state would become a new elite had proved all too true.[94][117]
The standard cycle of history involves a good leader, dull sons, stupid and dangerous grandsons, revolution, new leader, etc.  The American republic was established to prevent the oligarchy from stealing from the people, so that revolution was not necessary, and provide basic structure. Too bad the republic is gone.

There is an interesting quote below. The anarchist understood the evil of government, but the real world always intrudes on political fancy. Curiously, property rights were found objectionable for some. Proudhon, below, came to understand property was the foundation of freedom.

Your property is being taken from you on a daily basis through taxes, fees, and devaluation. It is being done so intentionally.

From a Wiki:

Modern anarchism sprang from the secular or religious thought of the Enlightenment, particularly Jean-Jacques Rousseau's arguments for the moral centrality of freedom.[70
William Godwin, "the first to formulate the political and economical conceptions of anarchism, even though he did not give that name to the ideas developed in his work".[49]
William Godwin is generally regarded as the founder of the school of thought known as 'philosophical anarchism'. He argued in Political Justice (1793)[72][74] that government has an inherently malevolent influence on society, and that it perpetuates dependency and ignorance. He thought that the spread of the use of reason to the masses would eventually cause government to wither away as an unnecessary force. Although he did not accord the state with moral legitimacy, he was against the use of revolutionary tactics for removing the government from power. Rather, he advocated for its replacement through a process of peaceful evolution.[72][75]
His aversion to the imposition of a rules-based society led him to denounce, as a manifestation of the people’s ‘mental enslavement’, the foundations of lawproperty rights and even the institution of marriage. He considered the basic foundations of society as constraining the natural development of individuals to use their powers of reasoning to arrive at a mutually beneficial method of social organisation. In each case, government and its institutions are shown to constrain the development of our capacity to live wholly in accordance with the full and free exercise of private judgment.

----
The French Pierre-Joseph Proudhon is regarded as the first self-proclaimed anarchist, a label he adopted in his groundbreaking work What is Property?, published in 1840. It is for this reason that some claim Proudhon as the founder of modern anarchist theory.[76] He developed the theory of spontaneous order in society, where organisation emerges without a central coordinator imposing its own idea of order against the wills of individuals acting in their own interests; his famous quote on the matter is, "Liberty is the mother, not the daughter, of order." In What is Property? Proudhon answers with the famous accusation "Property is theft." In this work, he opposed the institution of decreed "property" (propriété), where owners have complete rights to "use and abuse" their property as they wish.[77] He contrasted this with what he called "possession," or limited ownership of resources and goods only while in more or less continuous use. Later, however, Proudhon added that "Property is Liberty," and argued that it was a bulwark against state power.[78]

When you are poor and in debt, you have no real property and no defense against the state.

Send along: James Madison

“Of all the enemies to public liberty war is, perhaps, the most to be dreaded because it comprises and develops the germ of every other. War is the parent of armies; from these proceed debts and taxes. And armies, and debts, and taxes are the known instruments for bringing the many under the domination of the few.
In war, too, the discretionary power of the Executive is extended. Its influence in dealing out offices, honors, and emoluments is multiplied; and all the means of seducing the minds, are added to those of subduing the force of the people.

The same malignant aspect in republicanism may be traced in the inequality of fortunes,  and the opportunities of fraud, growing out of a constant state of war . . . and in the degeneracy of manners and morals, engendered by both. No nation could preserve its freedom in the midst of continual warfare.”

- James Madison, April 20, 1795

Gun Control Revisited

Current methods of logic lead me to agree that there should be gun control to protects us from the state.

Nonetheless, it is important to consider that gun ownership should be restricted.  This becomes obvious upon examining a comment made to an article in the Washington Times.

Clearly, there is widespread mental illness at work that drives a subset of Americans to murder, violence (see major city crime centers), and bizarre hysteria.

Perhaps, we should have a consensus of scientists agree this subset is mentally ill, and must be deprived of the ownership of guns, knives, and hammers, and, in some cases, kept in nice camps.

As with Global Warming arguments, correlation is causation! Perhaps, this sort of argument is not correct, so the mentally ill become Democrats, attracted to irrationality, rather than being made mentally ill by association.

You decide:

  • In 1865 a Democrat shot and killed Abraham Lincoln, President of the United States.
  •
In 1881 a left wing radical Democrat shot James Garfield, President of the United States.
  •
In 1963 a radical left wing socialist shot and killed John F. Kennedy
  • In 1975 a left wing radical Democrat fired shots at Gerald Ford.
  •
In 1983 a registered Democrat shot and wounded Ronald Reagan
  •
In 1984 James Hubert, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 22 people in a McDonalds restaurant.
  •
In 1986 Patrick Sherrill, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 15 people in an Oklahoma post
office.
  •
In 1990 James Pough, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 10 people at a GMAC office.
  •
In 1991 George Hennard, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 23 people in a Luby's cafeteria in Killeen, TX .
  • In 1995 James Daniel Simpson, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 5 coworkers in a Texas laboratory.

  • In 1999 Larry Asbrook, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 8 people at a church service.

  • In 2001 a left wing radical Democrat fired shots at the White House in a failed attempt to kill
George W. Bush, President of the US .
  •
In 2003 Douglas Williams, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 7 people at a Lockheed Martin plant.

  • In 2007 a registered Democrat named Seung - Hui Cho, shot and killed 32 people in Virginia Tech.

  • In 2010 a registered Democrat named Jared Lee Loughner, shot Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and killed 6 others.

  • In 2011 a registered Democrat named James Holmes, went into a movie theater and shot and killed 12 people.
  •
In 2012 Andrew Engeldinger, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 7 people in Minneapolis.

  • In 2013 a registered Democrat named Adam Lanza, shot and killed 26 people in a school in Newtown, CT.

  • Sept 2013, a Democrat shot 12 at a Navy ship yard.

--------

In addition to monitoring all Democrats and depriving them of the right to bear anything, including children, on mental illness grounds, it is also understandable why they are adamant in their desires to defeat the Second Amendment:

1.  Victims will be able to defend themselves.
2.  Projection: a deranged, hostile people see everyone else in the same light.
3.  Dangerous people reach out for help:  "Stop Me Before I Hurt Someone."

Never forget, the founding Democrat, Andrew Jackson, ordered the entire Cherokee nation off their land at gun point, ignored the Supreme Court, and is the founder of American genocide. Then, Democrats maintained slavery, even fighting a civil war to do so, then, having lost, engaged in segregation and terror. Today, their KKK still exists, but is not as popular as the Democrats now see blacks as their voting constituency.

Of course, the ruling class just uses these mental flaws. They want no avenue of resistance from anyone.

In another comment, there is another tirade;  here, are some relevant additions to above.
-------------------
  • Christopher Dorner went on a rampage killing innocents after posting
screed on Facebook, praising lefty “journalists” including Piers Morgan; killed
in shootout at a Bear Mt. cabin, Democrat
  • At Ft.
Hood, Muslim Army captain, Hasan, killed 13, wounded nearly 30 reg’d Democrat
  • Columbine,
Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, unregistered, but parents were reg’d Democrats
  • VA Tech
shooter, Ross Ashley, reg’d Democrat (sent hate mail to Pres. Bush)
  • In AZ,
Jared Lee Loughner who shot Congresswoman Gifford voted Dem. (registered
Independent)
  • Aurora,
CO, theatre shooter, James Holmes, reg’d Democrat (former OWS radical)
  • Newtown,
CT, shooter, Adam Lanza, reg’d Democrat (anti-Christian)
  • In DC,
Floyd Corkins opened fire at the Family Research Council (on the right) after
reading a “hate map” posted by the
Southern Poverty Law Center (on the left).
  • Lee Harvey Oswald was a communist [so the story goes]
  • In
Chicago, IL, John Wayne Gacy even ran as a Dem. candidate  [Mass murdere: Killer Clown]
  • Theodore
Kaczynski, Unabomber,  Dem.
  • Oklahoma
City, bomber, Timothy McVeigh (militia member but family were union Democrats)
  • N.
Carolina KKK member Kruger who thought he was killing Jews, but wasn’t, and ran
for office as a DEMOCRAT   [WHO?]
  • Washington,
DC, Aaron Alexis, registered Democrat (and had once had a concealed carry
registration in TX)  [Navy Yard murderer]

Have a nice day.

Criminal Government is Not New

      Thomas Jefferson
We hang the petty thieves and appoint the great ones to public office.
      Aesop

Save these epigrams and return to them.  Any era and location has the same story: collectivism becomes a way to steal. We had a good republic for a little while which saved us; now, we are branded cattle.

It really is time to withdraw from the concept of government.  It is easy to do and not necessary. Just stop feeding it and remove all connections.  Don't buy things with a tax on them; especially drive as little as possible. Starve the beast.  The beast will turn on us to find more  money, but don't have any available. Indeed, take money from the beast when it offers it to you for your vote.

Of course, then vote against ALL professional politicians.  All of them. Party is irrelevant.

This is better than refusing to vote as the oligarchy could care less. So, take out the puppets in the short term.

A good project is to organize friends in your area and take out local sycophants. Your votes will have great weight and all change must come from the bottom.

Hillary on Benghazi: My Bad!

Ms. Clinton's prevarication is easy to follow. One needs to reverse engineer to see why her strategists, including her Muslim Brotherhood close friend and advisor, think it is time to admit her prior positions were lies, see below, but that she is very sad about it. I suspect they want to get this out of the way early. So, never forget.

Too bad Oswald didn't have enough time to feel sad about JFK (assuming he shot him.)

This new lie will be waiting, here, when she is the candidate in two years, so you can retrieve it.

Her greatest regret, really, is the deal arming Muslim fundamentalists came to light,  the cover up did not hold for long, and she had to take the fall to protect the virtual president.

Did you vote for supporting Muslim murders?

In a question and answer session at Simmons College Wednesday night, Clinton listed the terrorist assault on the diplomatic compound in eastern Libya as her “biggest regret.”
“It would certainly be the attack on our facility in Benghazi, and the loss of, uh, two State Department personnel and two CIA contractors from the terrorist attack and the terrible consequences of that,” she said.
“It’s very, very painful and it was certainly the biggest regret that I had as Secretary of State.
While Benghazi’s impact on a possible presidential run is unknown, Clinton focused on the emotional toll
“They weren’t the only people that we lost, but we lost them in such a terrible, senseless, terrorist action that, you know, it’s just deeply sorrowful and it went on for hours, because the CIA annex was attacked after the State Department facility was attacked,” she said of the Sep. 11, 2012 assault

Her comments stand in sharp contrast to her defiant congressional testimony in January 2013, when she appeared before the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee
“The fact is we had four dead Americans, was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night who decided that they’d they go kill some Americans? What difference at this point does it make?” she asked.
The arrogant protest before the Foreign Affairs Committee was another positioning designed to deflect the inquiries.  One wonders if she can actually be truthful.

Many years ago, she was asked why her name was spelled with two "lls". She promptly responded because Sir Edmund Hillary was famous for climbing Mount Everest and she was named after him. This is a good trick as he climbed long after she was born.

Nothing she says reflects truth; all is tedious positioning and it seems to satisfy the true believers. Bill, at least, was a convincing liar. Her gesturing and adamant pronouncement was so over the top that no one can believe it was anything but a scene in  play where she didn't have a good coach.

Here is her latest stage gesture. It is meant to highlight that she is sensitive to people's feelings that is it a bad thing to kill people:

We are looking at serious trouble in the future as the low and very low information voters continue to install petty dictators. Giving the non-productive, losers, misfits, and lost souls free stuff will get votes, but America is not Venezuela, Cuba, North Korea, or Iran. Americans are slow to act, but when when they stand and turn, there is no force that will stop us.

Current events are stripping us of decades of passivity. Read the comments to news articles. The professional gremlins who seek to spin comments are overwhelmed in the general press. Americans now have 300,000,000 guns and the residents of Connecticut and New York are refusing to register the rifles the press calls "assault."

The subversives know all this. They are moving quickly as the pendulum is moving quickly against the Marxists and drones. The last election may have been the last chance to reclaim the republic; this one may be the last to prevent violence. Take the opportunity to remove all career politicians. All of them.

With any luck, we will survive the coming financial stress, put down the collectivists, and be able to rebuild a community.

Update on Last Piece

Irene owns a calculator, so she was able to figure out Subuh was actually the right age to be Barry's father.  I didn't have enough fingers to work that out.

Now, things are getting spooky.

Coincidence in the Land of Oz

No, this is not the picture of the President.

It is the image of the founder of an Indonesian religious movement, Mohammed Subuh Sumohadiwidjojo, that, curiously, has offices in Indonesia, Hawaii, and Chicago. The sharp similarity of rather striking and unusual features is coincidence, you may think.

This man could have been Obama's paternal father. It just looks just like exactly like him. But, it could just be a fluke. However, the entire story grows. You can link to the information offered in a blog at the link just above.

After weaving through it, you find the crazy coincidence that leader, Lorretta Deliana Fuddy, of the American office of Subuh, that same unknown religious group, was appointed to run the Hawaiian records division after the Obama birth "certificate" became a big story, what with all the forgeries and all, outside of the main media. In a bizarre twist of fate, she became the gatekeeper of the Hawaiian records. Imagine going from a religious leader in a Chicago NFP to a senior governmental position in Hawaii. Even with such a great resume, the probabilities of these ongoing coincidences become staggering!

She is the one who released something called the Obama long form (certificate of live birth;) frankly, I think all the releases were determined to be poor forgeries, so I expect this one was, as well, but I am not looking into it.  I no see the point of showing the obvious to the blind,  The horse won't drink, so why bring it to the river? Better to let it die and stand aside as it falls over.

It is documented that Obama's mother, who lived in Hawaii and allegedly gave birth there, was involved with the religious Subuh before moving off to Indonesia, the location of the home office. Huh! What a small world.

Anyway, Ms. Fuddy began receiving subpoenas and inquiries after getting involved in the live birth argument. She became a target of those looking for information. Alas, she was not able to offer any information.  That always seems to happen.

In an amazing and tragic coincidence, she was in the crash of a small plane in the Pacific Ocean.  Everyone got out of the jet, including Fuddy, but she turned up dead, anyway.    Is that weird, or what?

No autopsy was had to explain how she died in the water.
